It recently occurred to me that much of the material at this site was a consequence of my seeking the Lord for answers to questions about the Bible and of the light that I received through prayer and fellowship with others. However, until now, these "answers" were the only thing presented here. This, I believe, is really improper.
While it is altogether a good thing for the believers to speak the things they receive from the Lord, I have clearly seen on many occasions that the reason for such speaking is the building up of the Body of Christ. All the believers are in need of such building because the focus is not that individual believers would be strong in themselves, or even in the Lord, but that the members would be produced into a single entity, that is, the church. Consequently, most of what I have received regarding the New Testament economy has come through the fellowship of the saints rather than through my individualistic study.
To correct this problem at this site, this new section will contain things that I have seen in my spirit as important for some reason but concerning which I remain veiled as to what that importance precisely is. As we all know,
1Co 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully just as I also have been fully known. (NASB)
This page, therefore, will contain the partial "answers" concerning which I am waiting on the Lord for further light. It is intended that these matters be a starting point for fellowship between myself and my kind readers so that we together might gain further insight into the ways of the Lord and the revelation of Him in the Holy Scriptures.
To this end, I encourage the saints who happen by to consider the matters discussed here, to pray over the verses themselves, to reflect on their own experiences of the Lord's life within them, and to share with me their portions of enjoyment in these areas.
While simply relating someone else's teaching is not worthless in this inquiry, the goal of my invitation is to have the Spirit's anointing applied to these matters according to the reality of the Body. As may be seen from my Sources Consulted page, I already have fairly good coverage of those kinds of teachings.
I'm seeking light rather than knowledge.
